The Jacobsen Library offers its document delivery service only to staff and affiliates of the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center (WNPRC). We will supply journal articles and book chapters, provided as electronic PDF documents, and books or other monographs, within the constraints of fair use and University of Wisconsin-Madison contractual obligations. This includes items located in the Jacobsen Library and other University of Wisconsin-Madison campus libraries. The service obtains journal articles and other documents not available on UW-Madison campus from libraries at other academic institutions and commercial suppliers.

ALL non-affiliated individuals should make requests for items in the Jacobsen Library collection through Interlibrary Loan or through Wisconsin TechSearch, a fee-based document delivery service offered by the Kurt F. Wendt Engineering Library on the UW-Madison campus.

Notice: Warning Concerning Copyright Restrictions

The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
