AskPrimate Reference Service
AskPrimate is an e-mail-based international reference service for questions dealing with primates, primate organizations, or individuals in primatology. It is recommended that users of this service explore local resources and check local public, school, or university libraries, before consulting AskPrimate.
Audiovisual Equipment
The library is equipped with VHS and DVD players for viewing audiovisual materials.

Researchers not affiliated with the PRC:
Individuals wishing to receive copies of articles in the WPRC Library collection who are not affiliated with UW-Madison or an NCRR-supported primate research program should make requests for items through the Interlibrary Loan service at their supporting academic, public, or corporate library. Contact your local library for more information about available services.
Individuals may also request items from the WPRC Library collection through Wisconsin TechSearch, a fee-based document delivery service offered by the Kurt F. Wendt Engineering Library on the UW-Madison campus.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
The library lends books and audiovisual materials to other libraries on the UW campus, in the US and abroad.
Libraries and other organizations, both in the U.S. and internationally, can request audiovisual items, monographs, and photocopies of articles or chapters from journals, reprints or books located at the WPRC Library through interlibrary loan. Individuals wishing to borrow items from the WPRC Library must make a request through their local campus library, corporate library, or public library.

Loansome Doc
Loansome Doc is a service offered by the National Library of Medicine that allows registered users to submit document delivery requests directly from MEDLINE searches run on PubMed to a particular "ordering library." The WPRC Library offers this free service to staff and affiliates of the Harlow Lab, National Primate Research Centers, Caribbean Primate Research Center, and other NCRR-supported primate research programs.
