The National Center for Research Resources, part of NIH, supports a broad range of activities in support of biomedical research, including a national network of general clinical research centers (GCRCs), developing animal models for human disease, development of new high-tech instrumentation, and minority educational programs. The NCRR also sponsors seven regional primate research centers in the US for insightful studies of human health and behavior. This tape includes short interviews with Andrew Hendrickx and Jenny Short of the California Regional Primate Research Center and Joseph Kemnitz of the Wisconsin Regional Primate Research Center.
