(Narration is in Italian) This film describes the abusive behavior of a Japanese macaque mother. This mother, named Okame, was a wild-born group-living female housed in the Rome zoo. The abuse occurred spontaneously. The film describes 1) the abusive behavior, 2) the quality of the abuser-abusee relationship, and 3) the conditions eliciting abuse.
